Advanced Broadband HFC Networks

Advanced broadband networks provide system operators with an efficient system to drive fiber deep into the network more effectively, make better use of existing bandwidth, economically increase bandwidth, and target programming to specific areas. Most important, these networks enable the efficient delivery of many revenue-generating interactive services.

IPITEK 1550 nm supertrunks carry analog and digital signals from the Regional Headend to multiple hubs over long distances. Operating from the headend or a hub location, Advanced 1550 nm direct modulation transmitters and new, high performance 1310 nm transmitters provide the same level of quality over shorter distances directly to the nodes.
